Hotel Cádiz Bahía by Q Hotels

Great location. Our room on the 9th floor had the most amazing sea front view. Good size room, though had the bathroom double sinks in the bedroom which we haven’t seen in a long time but that did not bother us.

The view from the room (on ocean side) was fabulous. The room was a nice size with a comfortable bed, wonderful shower and nice sitting area. We found places for two suitcases but this could be improved by providing 1-2 foldable luggage racks. The pool was long and narrow and would have been good for swimming but there were many people just lounging in it. The ocean, on the other hand, is great for a dip, swimming and long walks on the beach. The hotel location was excellent. I would rate the hotel higher if they made small improvements - had good coffee in the room (not just instant), the aircon could be set lower than 20 celsius, provided luggage racks, had softer pillows, gave a discount for parking - even 25%- for hotel guests and let the pool stay open longer than 10:00-20:30, perhaps with a designated hour for circle lap swimming.

We loved the location of this hotel on the beach. The pool and bar was great (although it closed at 7:30) lots of close-by restaurants, and the rooftop bar was cool. Drinks were expensive though. We had an emergency situation with our rental car and the front desk/concierge wouldn’t let us use their phone to call roadside assistance. The room wasn’t clean - there was an unknown brown substance on the headboard that we cleaned off.

Excellent hotel in superb location on the beachfront in Cadiz. Spotlessly clean, beautiful rooms and facilities. Swimming pool area lovely with very comfortable day beds and our group of 8 were able to get beds at any time of day without issue (and in peak season). Towels provided and can be changed as frequently as you wish. Pool bar serves drinks to your sun beds and food there also lovely and reasonably priced. Food in buffet restaurant also delicious and varied with grill section offering a different selection of meat and fish every night. There is also a rooftop bar which is not well advertised but is the perfect place for late night cocktails, also very reasonably priced. It is possible to walk along the beach front into the old town although it takes at least 45 mins. Plenty of bars and restaurants along the way. A taxi was about €6-7. Also plenty of bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the hotel as well as supermarkets. Playa Victoria is a great sandy beach and has sun beds for hire and is safe to swim. Amazing ice cream shop (Mira) next to hotel entrance was a winner with children and adults alike, long queues in the evening but fine during the day. Overall one of the best hotels that we have stayed in Spain and we travel there regularly. Highly recommend and look forward to returning.
