The setting was beautiful. We made great use of the fire pit and hot tub and had fun exploring some of the trails. Unfortunately, the Nordic House was filled with the pungent odor of marijuana when we arrived. It was too strong for any of us to stay in it and did not dissipate until over halfway through our booked stay. This made staying in the Great House a tight fit. The host responded quickly to our initial contact and stated they would send someone out to check on it. We never saw anyone at the time the host gave us and the host went silent afterwards. The Great House has the stickiest kitchen counters I have ever encountered and only a single kitchen towel but was otherwise a wonderful home.

We all loved the property, only issue was getting a propane refill for the fire pit (ran out after approximately 1 hr use). A guide book to refer to would have been helpful as it has a specialized tank so the backup ones cannot be used. Missed out on the remaining nights use of the pit, unfortunate. Other than that, an awesome stay.

Check-in and Check-out processes were very easy once we figured out the check-in code for each building, and the accommodations were excellent. We had very cozy sleeping arrangements with privacy for each family unit. The kitchen/refrigerator/stove/dishwasher amenities were absolutely perfect. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. We had a wonderful deck on which to relax and enjoy the forested environment. We highly recommend the Stillwater Mountain Lodge for any large gathering.

We had a group of 11 family members, siblings plus spouses. All seniors. The property was a lovely location in the forest. However it could use a good update. Wood counter tops in the kitchen didn't seem very sanitary. When we arrived, the Nordic house had garbage strewn behind the house. The managers did respond to do a cleanup the next day. We ran out of propane for the bbq the second day. No dishtowels in the kitchen. Beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of fresh towels for the bathrooms. So all in all - an average property.
