Before I even arrived, Mohammed contacted me to let me know that he would be happy to give directions to my driver. On my arrival, Mohammed was generous enough to prepare me some traditional local food; and it was very welcomed and tasty. If you’d like to experience an authentic rural guesthouse and sincere hospitality then this is the experience for you. Mohammed will organise all of your excursions with safety, affordability and sustainability in mind. You can horse-ride, camel safari, quad-bike safari, Bedouin camp, and Mohammed uses trusted and safe locals when you wish to explore the local area, Abu Sir, Saqqara, Dashour, Cairo and beyond.......... I couldn’t be more grateful for my short visit to Mohamed’s guesthouse, and I most definitely will return on future trips.

It is a rural area and the small town is eclectic, a little chaotic, and noisy around the local Souk and guesthouse, it is a little confusing to navigate around the narrow lanes. You’re able to glimpse into the life of the ancient Egyptians; as you’re within minutes of Abu Sir Pyramid complex, whilst experiencing contemporary Egyptian rural life. The locality is wresting with the challenges of the disposable consumer generation: garbage management is the most immediate and visible challenge.

Mohammed, the owner, made our stay simply great. He communicated with our driver dropping us of at the guest house as it is a little hidden and he arranged all other transfers for us. Breakfast was fantastic, he'll prepare what you wish for. Rooms are very clean and well equipped. We couldn't have wished for more.
