We had a great time at Casa Maria! The house was excellent, it's the first time we've ever walked in and said "this is even better than in the photos!" The pool was clean and warm, the kitchen was very usable, and Meaghan and Jarrod were very responsive any time we needed anything or asked for suggestions for nearby activities. The view is wonderful, we watched sunsets from the pool and enjoyed the easy access to the beach immediately behind the property.

The house is an older property and could use some overall maintenance. The living area was fine and spacious. The front area with pool was nice but overall yard area needed upkeep. The property management was outstanding , responding quickly to texts and questions. The homes in that area are somewhat remote. The roads into Tamarindo are extremely rough and dusty. Petty crime is a problem in the area so locking up was always on your mind and also setting the house alarm. The beach area in front of the house is outstanding with shallow water for the kids and good surfing further out. It was a great vacation and everyone had a good time. You have to remember you are in a third world country and can’t expect everything you have in more populated and newer resort areas.

We really enjoyed Casa Maria, the location and view is phenomenal. The kids really enjoyed the tide pools in front of the house and boogie boarding. We would all gather at the beach each day for the sunset show. Great place to stay, close to restaurants and other beaches. Will look forward to staying there again.

Great house, kitchen, bedrooms and great room with a pool. What more do you need. Great location on the beach with a gate on to the sandy beach. A great surf spot 400 yards down the beach Pura Vida!
