The host was very attentive with great communication. Our original unit had a plumbing issue and the host upgrading us to another unit. It was an amazing upgrade and we really appreciated it

It is well located to the stores and beach. All within walking distance. Clean rooms and very good value for money.

Rooms were a bit dark and cold. However it is winter, summer must so much better.

We stayed at Amblewood Guesthouse for two nights during our South African trip. The apartment provided everything we needed for our stay and was a good base for exploring the Kenton-on-Sea area. Nice hosts with great communication.

The apartment was fairly basic compared with some of the other places we stayed during our trip for a similar price, and we did find it a little cold during our visit. The bathroom could have done with some attention. The toilet system flush kept unlatching and had a sign on to hold handle back up but it would have been nicer to fix it rather than put a sign on it. That said, it was a convenient place to stay and worked well for our two-night stop and the host did communicate with us well and reset the hot water for us when it went off very quickly.
