The location was amazing, garden left me speechless. Was able to relax and detox.

The beds were not comfortable for a side sleeper like me. Needed more cushion

Very lovely spot. Staff was wonderful. Hot springs amazing The garden was so beautiful and you could walk around in the garden for as long as you would like. And keep seeing new areas. The hot springs were so relaxing it was amazing to be able to soak in a private outdoor setting

Gorgeous ryokan at the foot of Mt Fuji. Unfortunately it was too foggy to see the mountain, the hotel and surrounding gardens made up for it. Beautiful facility , friendly staff, amazing food. We also really enjoyed the onsen and hot tub.

The facilities: a drums show at the evening, renting nice outfits and an amazing, amazing garden free to explore! The hotel itself is amazing from the inside, maybe the best I have ever seen. You could just walk around and enjoy how great it is. Nice scenery from the inside.

Technically, it is not that well located. 20 minutes taxi from the main station and the city, also 20 minutes taxi to the Chureito Pagoda. Also, we thought we could use the Onsen together with my wife but it was not possible. This information was unclear and honestly misleading to us as we really thought we could use it together. Finally, the dinner is probably amazing for locals and enjoyers, but maybe too typical for tourists. But eh, this is not their fault.
