The moment we stepped on the property we were smitten. The place exceeded our expectations. The unit was cozy but had everything you could need in the full kitchen and bath. The sweeping views of the sea and mountains were the icing on the cake. To wake up to a fabulous sunrise every morning and then stroll onto the beach with a good book in hand was all we needed. The owner and property management company were amazing. They were always available to help out when needed and provided a wealth of information on what sites to see and things to do to make our stay more enjoyable. It is indeed a little slice of paradise.

Enjoyed the privacy and view from the studio. The breeze made sleeping and relaxing very enjoyable. Appreciated the paddle board and kayak. The summary of itineraries in the blue folder helped us considerably. We enjoyed our tour to Red Bank (Raul) to see the Scarlet McCaws. Went to the Cockscomb Sanctuary and floated the river and hiked to the waterfall. Ate at recommended restaurants. All in all it was a fabulous 8 days. Enjoyed every guest that stayed at the house too. Everyone was personable and respectful of the space. We would definitely book again.

My wife and I stayed a week at Moonrise Beach, and it was a wonderful place to begin our exploration of Belize and then return to relax. The studio on top is great for two with a view, and there is also a 3 bedroom unit on the main floor. Both recently updated and well maintained. The pool was a blessing as we got used to the heat and humidity. We had a rental car, so driving into Placencia Village was easy, so we could enjoy a food tour, snorkel or river excursion. But then coming back to relax on the property was the icing on the cake. Both the property manager and owners were very responsive and helpful. If you are looking for a homebase to explore this area of Belize, this is it.
