Romantic retreat in a secret garden. Set against the backdrop of the medieval walled town of Dinan, this little cottage charms you from the moment you enter the sgarden hidden behind a plain grey door. It’s the perfect place for a couple, with a cozy sitting room, well-equipped kitchen (with an actual teapot!) and beautiful bedroom upstairs with whitewashed walls and a large, very comfortable bed. Lovely furnishings and thoughtful touches. Robyn is the perfect host and we could have stayed for a month. The garden itself is spectacular and the perfect place for breakfast with a view of old rooftops or an evening glass of wine. We can’t say enough good things about this very special place. A huge thanks for making our stay in Dinan a time to be long treasured.

We stayed in Dinan for the Medieval Festival des Ramparts. Jasmine Cottage is a delightful place, close to the medieval ramparts and on the historic road joining the port to the town centre. The cottage is small but well equipped with not one, but two beautiful gardens to relax in. Our generous hosts Robyn and Ross, couldn’t have been kinder. Be warned, it is on a very steep hill, but there couldn’t be a better place to get into the Medieval festival vibe.

The property was a gem although not for the faint of heart with the climbs. The apartment was a touch small but functional. The garden was exceptional and a great place to hang out for drinks and food.Robyn was a super host with great welcome gifts !!!

Robyn is the quintessential hostess. She was a delight and so helpful. We stayed in Jasmine cottage which was well appointed, cozy and inviting. It had everything you needed and more . . . from fresh flowers and homemade muffins with raspberry jam to an extremely comfortable king-size bed. We enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the gardens. Right in the heart of old town Dinan, restaurants and shopping are but a few steps away. Of course we have to mention Molly, her adorable little dog, she brightened our day! We will recommend this cottage to everyone.
