It’s a beautiful house with an incredible view. It was so peaceful and quiet, and we barely knew there were any other guests in the Cyferfontein Reserve. We were even lucky enough to have a hippo walk by! The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, and the pool was definitely our favourite part of the whole lodge. It was also great to have a game-viewing vehicle for the whole day (hired at an additional cost), which allowed us to drive around the reserve and explore at our own pace. We really enjoyed having the freedom to do this by ourselves.

There was a bit of a delay in receiving responses from our hostess, particularly when we needed directions to the lodge itself. Fortunately, the friendly security staff at the main reserve were very helpful and managed to assist us with directions. There were also a few minor maintenance issues during our stay, such as the aircon in our room needing gas, some difficulty getting the hot tub going, clogged shower heads, and loose toilet seats. These were all relatively minor issues and didn’t have a major impact on our stay. I’m sure the maintenance team will have everything sorted out before the next guests arrive.

Excellent value for money, a beautiful and peaceful venue, spotlessly clean and easy to access. I highly recommend it and would gladly return. Friendly and quick response from host. Will be back soon.

I liked everything. Nothing to complain about!

The house is very well designed with 4 very comfortable large communal area. Big tables, sufficient seating in and outdoor. The rooms are generous as are the bathrooms. The showers and twin sinks a pleasure with great storage! The kitchen is very well equipped and offers a gas hob, electric oven, air fryer, ice machine, dishwasher, microwave, nespresso coffee maker, large fridge and a chest freezer. Crockery and cutlery are well supplied. The ladies that came to clean every day were super efficient, friendly and unobtrusive.

Nothing

The House is spacious. Very Nice Location. And it was quiet. No Unnecessary disturbances. Jacuzzi was a winner.

The house was not in Mabalingwe itself. It is in a different part. There is a couple of things that needs to be fixed. Doors that fell out of the sockets. Outside entertainment area needs work. Bathroom doors did not close. The mattresses need replacing. (I know the day that we left new mattresses was delivered).
