Deep Roots Dive & Yoga Resort

Huge property with an amazing location and views. But if you like staying very close to markets on the markets, deep roots might be a little off-road. Takes about 5-10 mins to ride up to the resort from the main road. It is also close to a small off beat beach. The staff is amazing and are very attentive to your cleanliness and housekeeping. David and his wife are amazing as well. Great stay!!

The food at the restaurant could have been better with more choices.

Located in the hills, a little away from the beach, it was very peaceful and quiet. The staff were also very friendly, and the facilities were excellent.

The hotel staff are really friendly and very helpful

This was the most expensive hotel we stayed at during our trip to Bali / Lombok, and by far the worst. We asked for an upgrade upon arrival (with an extra charge), but the room was nowhere near worth the price. There was some kind of pump or engine that made an irregular motor noise day and night (at first we thought someone was mowing the lawn). We sent some clothes to the laundry service and didn’t even think of checking the rates, as it wasn’t the first time we used this service in Indonesia: €25 (!) just to wash a few t-shirts, shorts and underwear (including one t-shirt ruined after washing, so in the end we “only” paid €12.5 for the load… thank you for the incredible commercial gesture). The food at the hotel is not great, and the property is very isolated, so without transport there’s no way to get around (the hotel doesn’t organize transfers except to the port, and it’s not cheap either).
