The staff were wonderful and the breakfast was delicious.

This is a fairly basic setup. We had a two bedroom apartment and although the apartment is huge, the bathroom is the size of a closet. The kitchen is set up for four people with plates and cutlery but no washing detergent or cloths or anything to clean up. The bed was very hard and the pillows very lumpy so I didn't get much sleep.

Was relatively central

Breakfast included

We arrived around 8pm and were greeted by friendly and helpful staff with our check-in details all meticulously noted. The room, although a bit on the smaller side, was comfortable for a one-night stay. The location on the N2 just before Plettenberg Bay is very convenient. The next morning, we could appreciate the whole estate - what a beautiful setup, with the gardens well tended and everything neat and well maintained. The included breakfast was a great way to start the day. If you're on a roadtrip and just looking for a good, safe place to stay the night, Forest Gate Eco Estate is a great option!

Easily located and next to the main road

The drainage system in the shower was not working, there are no TVs and there was not network even the WiFi was really a struggle.
