We had a great experience during our stay! In town for a weekend wrestling tournament, the boys really enjoyed being able to fish in the canal behind the house. The family room and kitchen have plenty of seating for everyone to hang out. Great house for a couple of families.

It was a short safe walk to the beach.Well stalked kitchen and the waffle iron was very popular. The pool and floats were a big hit with all ages. There were enough TVs for all. The view from the back deck and pool of the canal was very peaceful. Parking was fine for 4 cars.We also enjoyed the Wildlife Refuge just a few miles south which was also near the boat/kayak rental. On the way out, the VA Aquarium was a big hit for all ages

We had a great time in Sandbridge. Pool was great for the kids and nice short walk to the beach. The home was nice comfortable and the owner was quick to respond to questions

The host was very nice. She replied to my messages in a timely manner. However, it was 50 degrees when I arrived at 4:00 pm. After about 4 hrs the house warmed up to 75 degrees. Apparently, the heat pump is set up to drop down when no one is in the house. Went to a wedding at 2pm, got home at 7pm and temp was down to 60. It was then we learned the temperature adjusts itself. Bad system when it is 20-30 degrees outside. The icemaker was frozen; the host was unaware. I would recommend a good deep cleaning of the property and replacement of the sofa (cushions very worn and soft). The house served its purpose.
