Bracken Hide Hotel

Great views , staff were great, breakfast was a good portion, and the main building was a pleasure to sit in and enjoy.

The rooms are just too small for international travellers with multiple bags, the bathroom is tight, limited storage and not enough hooks to hang wet gear or towels.

The room is comfortable and the restaurant is beautiful.

Some staff members were excellent, while others—like the first employee who received us—were not; however, the second person we spoke with was very pleasant. There was a mix of unfriendly and pleasant staff. Housekeeping service was poor and left much to be desired.

The Pods are great fun. You know they will be small and the facilities in them limited but the view is great, they are cosy rather than cramped and the novelty of waking in a Pod overlooking Skye is highly enjoyable. The main building is really well designed and beautifully built. The bar area is a superb place for a couple of night caps and the restaurant is equally as good, for both breakfast and dinner. We didn't try the sauna but next time perhaps we will.

Nothing.
