KESATRIYAN JOGJA GUEST HOUSE

The place is exceptional! From our arrival the staff was extremely helpful, friendly and welcoming. Place itself is beautiful, it’s a traditional Indonesian house with stunning wooden furniture and a lot of greenery outside which is very well kept. Room we had had everything you need for a few days stay to explore Yogya and the surroundings. Clean, very comfortable large bed, air conditioning working very well, hot water always available in the shower. It’s also in proximity of the center (just a short Grab ride from Malioboro) but in a calm, quiet area so you can relax after experiencing hustle and bustle of Yogya. We spend also very nice time with the locals working there just chatting, having tea and enjoying ourselves. Cannot recommend more!

Amazing location just next to the palace and walking distance to Malioboro. Friendly staff and good sized room. We really enjoyed our stay.

Location is good, bed is comfortable, hot water works

They asked for extra 100K for early check-in even though I mentioned that I didn’t sleep properly last night(it was 3 hours before check-in time). Every morning during my stay, they started to make renovation noise that woke me up early in the morning. They have to understand that people come and stay there for vacation and don’t have to wake up early. They also mention that I have to keep the room clean in the most absurd way(that I’ve never heard in my life before), otherwise I may not get my deposit back and even may get charged extra. However when I get into the room sheets weren’t so clean and bathroom as well.
