Relais I Due Roccoli

We had splashed out on a Superior Suite with Sea View (charming choice of words) but it was worth it for the terrace and the views over the Lake which must, surely, be unsurpassed. The gardens, breakfast, dining room (food and wine) and staff were all equally impressive.

Glorious view from the terrace. Excellent choice and quality of food in the restaurant. Likewise choice and quality for breakfast.

Liked the hotel hated the room. There are some nice rooms and some terrible ones. We got the latter. I loved the morning breakfast and the views were gantadtic.

I didn’t like the rooms. The dinner was overrated and expensive. We didn’t skimp on any event and the experience was underwhelming. The commute to the hotel requires a rental car. Not worth a cab.
