The rating is for the location and the responsiveness of management. This was an excellent location. There was one building between it and the boardwalk/beach. It was an easy walk on the boardwalk to the restaurants and casinos. Management was very timely in responding to all questions and comments. The side egress stairs need repair and the management responded that they would get that fixed. Overall, the unit was older than we had expected. Water pressure was good and the place was clean. There were enough towels. The fridges were large and both (upstairs and downstairs units) ice makers worked great. We had plenty of cups, glasses and plates for our group of 11, though we did not find any wine glasses. We did not cook any meals in the units. The outdoor shower for removing beach sand was nice. It was disappointing that "parking on site" is in the listing, but there was no on site parking. The couple of spaces in front were always taken and we had to park about a 10 minute walk along the boardwalk. We did park next to the building temporarily to quickly unload and load our belongings. The parking recommended by management, Stockton University Public Parking, has a garage and also an open lot for vans. Check the rates. We paid 15, 15 and 34 for each of our 3 nights. The beds ranged in overall comfort, some were great -others o.k. There was a drip coffee maker in the lower unit & a K-cup maker in the upper unit. Again, great location and management was responsive.
