Nestled on a hillside in a quiet side street, our modern interpretation of a tiny house awaits you, surrounded by old ash trees. The “cabins”—are part of our “Mühle” apartment retreat. They stand out for their simple, minimalist architecture. Only larch wood siding breaks up the clean, elongated white facade.
Facing southwest, the houses open up with large, floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of the lush, nearly secluded grounds. Inside, the contrast becomes apparent—here, the compact exterior dimensions leave no room for concerns about a lack of space. The 50-square-meter interior is flooded with light and perfectly tailored to the needs of a long stay.
The clean and cozy rooms are decorated in subtle colors. The furnishings stand on their own in each room, complemented only by select details and strategic lighting. Additional pops of color come from the large windows, whose views change with the seasons, ensuring a pleasant getaway on the island of Rügen even on days with inclement weather.
