Clean, cozy spot really close to historic central York. Parking was really easy and free on the main road. Excellent, fast communication with host.

Great place to stay! 15 to 20 min easy walk into York. Cozy accommodation with all the mod cons you might need. Great hosts, would highly recommend!

Everything was great and we really appreciated the snacks and beverages that were provided.

Sometimes you find a holiday cottage that’s so perfect, you almost don’t want to tell anyone about it — just to make sure it’s not booked out for years to come. Still, we couldn’t not recommend this lovely place. The cottage is spotlessly clean, looks beautiful inside and out, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay in York. The owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they really do their best to make you feel at home. Our kids were especially happy with the treats that had been left for us in the kitchen, which was such a thoughtful surprise. It took us around 20 minutes to walk into the city centre, and there’s a shop, a park with a playground and a few pubs close by.We had a fantastic time and would absolutely love to come back.
