Check in was easy. I mentioned to the host before purchasing that we would be hauling motorcycles when I inquired about the driveway. From the pictures, the driveway looked flat but it’s not. You can barely see the driveway from the road until you are right next to it. A few days before arriving, I received a message saying you couldn’t get a trailer in there after it was too late to cancel. We made it work and rented a spot for the trailer we hauled the motorcycles in. Upon arrival, we noticed the washing machine had mold and mildew all in the ring. We bought cleaner and cleaned it as best we could because we didn’t want our clothes to smell like that. One of the showers was stopped up and I mentioned that to the host. My husband unclogged it because it was full of hair. I am not sure if it’s in the description about the shower situation but if you are elderly or have any physical limitations of stepping big steps into the shower, don’t rent this place. Both showers are huge and the steps in are big. There is a handle to hold onto and it’s manageable but would not be possible without those things. The beds were comfortable. There is no where to put your things in the bathroom with the two small sinks. Maybe they will add a cabinet or something to be able to put things on. Our friends said they heard road noise all night that would keep them up as this is a busy road. We brought a fan so it drowned the noise out for us. Other than that, the place was good for our needs.

I thought this property was lovely. The two bedrooms and two bathrooms were perfect for us. The hot tub was very nice to have there and we had fun playing pool upstairs as well when we were not on an adventure. The only thing I would say is that if you are elderly you might have be super careful getting in and out of the bathtub/shower. We are all 63, 69, and 74 and we were fine but we are all in pretty good shape. It's just something to consider if you are a bit older. This is a lovely place to stay and we were very happy with it. We brought some food so we didn't have to go out for every single meal to save a bit of money. The kitchen is very nice also. The porch outside is lovely to sit out there and just chill.

The cabin was very clean and cozy. The host was very informative and made check in and check out very easy. Loved the hot tub. We are so happy we chose this place to stay for our first time in the area. Would definitely book again.

The cabin is in a great location, close to town. It worked fine for our group but if you had kids or people sleeping on the couch they would have to go thru a bedroom to use the restroom. That's a problem. The showers have to be crawled into and would not be safe for children. They have wood surrounds that have mildew on them, not the best since you pay a cleaning fee. The hot tub is nice on a screened in back porch.
