Excellent, comfortable, clean room. Easy parking. Friendly, helpful staff. We spend time in Portland every Summer, and for the last three years the Viking has been our Portland home. We hope to stay there again next Summer. We stayed there five nights this Summer.

Clean room, the man at the front desk was nice. The only problem that we have is the outlet and the microwave not working well. The beds were comfortable though. It was a nice stay if you will only need a sleep for a night.

We came to Portland for a wedding and were looking for a nice, clean place to stay in the Overlook area. The Viking Motel fit the bill! It is close to restaurants, grocery stores and many walkable neighborhoods. Also close to public transport. We will stay here again if we get the chance.
