The riad was beautiful, very well maintained, and incredibly quiet. The location was perfect—close to all the main activities and attractions, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. The staff were amazing, incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They also helped us arrange all our transfers and taxis, which made everything much easier and stress-free. The breakfast was incredible—fresh, delicious, and a wonderful way to start each day. We especially appreciated that they let us leave our luggage there for two days while we went on our Sahara Desert excursion. It was incredibly helpful and made our trip much more convenient.

One small point that could be improved is the airport transfer upon arrival. When we arrived, there was initially no one waiting for us. We waited for around 30 minutes and then had to call the riad. The driver arrived shortly afterwards, but the organization could have been clearer.

Everything was amazing

Exactly as on the pictures, clean, tidy, well located, the entrance street looks a bit doggy but the fact that it is hidden from the business and loudness of the rest of Medina is priceless!

I stayed at Riad L'Esprit in Marrakech and had a mixed experience overall. Pros: The riad is absolutely beautiful inside, with a charming and authentic atmosphere. The rooftop terrace is a highlight — it features a small pool and the option to have breakfast there, which is a lovely touch. The staff were generally very kind and welcoming during my stay.

Cons: The breakfast could be significantly improved. It mainly consists of simple carbohydrates, with very limited protein (usually just a fried egg), and the selection is almost the same every day, which becomes repetitive. I also tried the spa services. The foot and leg massage was average, acceptable for the price. However, the pedicure was disappointing — one of my nails was cut too short, which caused it to bleed, and there was no apology from the staff member. The rooms are not well soundproofed. One night around 4 a.m., other guests were very loud inside the riad. Unfortunately, there was no noticeable response from the staff, and the noise continued for about an hour, which negatively affected the stay. The street leading to the riad can feel somewhat uncomfortable at night, with people sleeping outside in the later hours.
