Kalea House exceeded our expectations in absolutely every possible way! As Cefalu, this place is a true gem and we couldn’t recommend it more! Somehow, it is even more beautiful in person than in the photos. Everything feels brand new, spotless and incredibly well taken care of. The whole place is beautifully decorated, and you can tell that every little detail has been thoughtfully considered. It was extremely clean, smelled amazing, and felt so comfortable and welcoming. The air conditioning worked perfectly, the beds were super comfortable, and we absolutely loved the two little balconies. Everything was truly impeccable. The location could not be better. You are right in the heart of the town, next to the church and within walking distance of everything you could possibly need — restaurants, cafés, shops and all the main conveniences are just steps away. The beach is only about a 5-minute walk! It honestly felt like the perfect location for enjoying everything without needing a car. Mario was also an incredible host — genuinely one of the kindest and most helpful hosts we met during our trip. Communication was easy, he was always attentive, and he even arranged a transfer for us from the parking area to the house and helped us with our luggage. There was also a lovely book in the apartment filled with recommendations and useful local tips, which was such a thoughtful touch. The only thing to keep in mind is that there are several flights of stairs, so this may be worth considering if you have mobility issues or very heavy luggage. For us, however, it didn’t take away from the experience at all, especially with Mario being so helpful. It was genuinely difficult to leave. We felt so comfortable and happy there, and everything about our stay was absolutely perfect — the house, the location, the cleanliness, the little details, and especially the hospitality. We'll come back and definitely stay here again! :)
