This is a lovely location with a lot of thoughtful extras. The kitchen had a full size refrigerator and the kitchen was fully stocked with nice glassware and dishes. The hosts provided coffee and light snacks. It was an easy walk to downtown Southport and a short trip to the ocean front beach at Oak Island. We enjoyed sitting on the riverfront at the property. The blackout curtains were a nice touch in the morning. We will definitely stay here again.

We very much enjoyed the room. It's perfect for a couple. We loved the pool and beach access. We didn't cook. It does have a full size refrigerator, small cooktop. There's not an oven. The response to our questions was quick. We would stay here again.

There was beach access but it's not the "ocean" which should be clearer. The small private "beach" has at least 3 signs stating "Alligator Habitat' and I think that should be clearer as well if you know there will be children staying. The property was a nice motel room which and very clean. We did have to take the 20 min ride to Oak Island both days we were there for the beach and it was beautiful. Good space if you don't mind driving to the beach.
