Had a ton of charm, welcoming staff, nice breakfast

Beautiful old house. Staff communication was excellent. Breakfast was excellent - French press coffee, home-made apple cider donuts!
Couldn't open windows for fresh air. Room air conditioner wasn't great and showed "Clean filter". Three flights of stairs to carry up suitcase.

The room was basic. Not enough loo roll and it was the flimsiest poorest cheapest loo rolls I have ever come across.
Towels were small.
On the other hand the room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
See above.
Also I do not like staying somewhere where there is no staff person around to deal with any queries or potential problems.
