Absolute perfect location and facilities, great hot tub , nice spa and bar at the golf club which you can use as a guest.

How quiet, peaceful and secure it was, only a few cabins on site and very dog friendly. The hot tub was a really bonus and enjoyed the view over the lake. A little gift basket was waiting for us, which was a nice touch. Cabin is not far from York, so Xmas shopping done 😀We hope to come back next year.
We noticed some damp rising up the wall in a corner of the bedroom by the dressing table area and the boiler was very unpredictable, the morning and evening showers were hot, cold, hot, cold but we managed by using the smaller shower head and holding away when cold. So cabin could do with a bit of maintenance and repair but nothing stopped our enjoyment of the holiday.

A well equipped lodge with lovely terrace overlooking the lake. Location easily accessible to lots of places to visit. Would definitely visit again. Hot tub a real bonus for a relaxing weekend away.
