House was new, spacious, and well decorated. Nicely away from any noise or traffic. Very easy walk to free beach shuttle if you’re lugging gear, but. It bad walk and simple bike ride to the beach. Also very close to nice retail area with good restaurants, shops, and a good gym if you’re so inclined. Beyond that, easy access to Watercolor, Seaside, and Blue Mountain for more options, and about 1 hr drive to Destin airport (no need to take toll route, doesn’t save a ton of time). Only word to the wise is that the parking is tight, and not for novice drivers. We had a Chevy Equinox as a rental, and depending on how neighbors park, you might be doing some Austin Powers maneuvering. Property manager Rupa was proactive in communicating throughout.

Rupa was so easy to work with and very communicative. A complete delight to work with. Beautiful home with all the things you need to enjoy your home away from home. Excellent location and perfect for a family getaway. We hope to visit again soon! My kiddos are ready to move in full time!

When arriving we were excited to see a nice neighborhood. You do have to cross a main and busy road and down about 7 mins from the property to the tram, so compared to Santa Rosa last year, we would prefer to stay there. Also, the couch had weird stains on it so it was unusable the whole trip and that was inconvenient. The bunk bed rooms furniture had big chips in the wood which was unsafe for kids so we had to line it with pillows. They had a piece of broken furniture that was poorly glued back on and resulted in my nephew getting a small wound on his head when trying to open it for his game. The decks and windows and walls had visible dirt and residue on them. We also had a lot of issues with the lock pad not working and us not being able to get into the house. Luckily we usually had someone home so they could let us in. There is also not a lock on the door from the inside, so keep that in mind if you have little ones. The house itself would have Been wonderful if up kept properly because there was definitely enough space for our family with 5 kids. I would say for the price and location overall, we stayed right across from the beach in a big property with nice amenities and a 1 min walk to beach in Santa Rosa on 30a for a little cheaper and that overall was a better experience. I would not book here again personally for price, location, And cleanliness.
