Would recommend this apartment as a holiday home for families. Very clean and spacious

We stayed at this property last year with no problems, other than the tv and internet which was promised to upgrade for this year’s visit , This was doneand it was greatly improved, The interior including bedrooms, kitchen, bathrooms and lounge were very clean and up to standard. However, the outside facilities were not as good as last year! The floor tiles were very dirty with evidence of dried mud and bird droppings throughout! We ended up sweeping and mopping the area that we most used twice during our stay, but left the mud and bird droppings as we found them. The tiles could do with a jet wash as we noticed other apartments were having them done at the time ?The new sun chairs were a great improvement but the two damaged sun beds couldn’t be used and were unsightly, perhaps needing removal if only for cosmetic effects? If this problem could be addressed we will definitely consider re booking for 2027 !

Was a great base and location. Excellent communication and great support and help from the property manager. Comfortable and convenient. Pool in March was freezing but as expected. Pool areas were amazing though would love to use them in the summer!! Our only issue was that with 4 of us staying there we couldn’t all get a hot shower in a row before the hot water ran out and person 3 and 4 had a cold shower or had to wait.

John's apartment is very spacious and the large terrace with table and chairs and BBQ is great. Perfect for a family.The apartment is spotlessly clean and well maintained and provides everything you could want.The sofa has obviously done some sterling work over the years, but sadly is no longer as comfortable as it once must have been!The complex is similarly clean and well maintained and very quiet in September when we were there.At John's recommendation we booked Pepe's Taxi for our transfers to and from the airport. He provides a punctual and courteous service at a reasonable price.The apartment is in a great location with supermarkets, bars and restaurants a ten minute walk.On arrival we were met by Julie who handed over the keys and explained everything. She hadn't contacted us until the day before we travelled, which is fine if you know, but we were getting a little bit twitchy by that time!While a car is not necessary, it would be lovely to be able to explore more of the Mar Menor. We ventured out one day (Pepe again) and really enjoyed it.Overall we had a great holiday and can highly recommend John's apartment.
