With its friendly neighbors, cozy restaurants, and tree lined streets, our neighborhood will immerse you in Charleston’s classic charm. This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.
Getting Around:
You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.
Other Things to Note:
Luggage storage offered Monday- Friday at our main office from 8:30am-5pm. On weekends we recommend utilizing Bounce Luggage storage. Please inquire once booking is complete for the address!

Great location. Everything is nearby. We like this place. It’s clean and the back porch is nice.

The Swan House was a great stay for us. The kitchen is well stocked and whole space was cleaned well. The linens were very soft and plenty of towels and small samplings of soap and other toiletries. The location is great. We walked everywhere. We broke it up but walked to East Bay Area and then all the way back. Felt safe. Coming St is a somewhat busy street. Road noise to be expected but not to where it was disruptive to our stay. The balcony off the bedroom overlooks the gravel parking lot but still a pleasant space. The rocking chairs are nice on the side porch, watching ppl line up to eat at Chubby’s. Very little communication with host bc wasn’t needed but was quick with the 1 time. A definite return space for us.

The Swan House was a charming 2nd story floor that worked great for our family of 5. It was very clean and kitchen was well stocked. Communication was very good from the management company. You will need to be able to climb one flight of stairs. Very good handrails on the stairs. Some things you need to be aware of… 1. Parking is TIGHT and only one car allowed (so goes most all of Charleston). If you drive anything larger than a midsize SUV you are going to have issues. We had two vehicles and 2.5 days at the parking deck cost a lot more than expected when I picked up the car. Other things to be aware of are traffic and construction. Neither affected our visit, but you should know. The road the house is on is the main one way (northbound) road to 17 / 26. The bedrooms are on the back of the house and road noise was not an issue for us, but it’s a busy street. Construction nearby begins at 7-7:30. This week they were pounding down pillars with a crane and that pounding went on all day. In all fairness you can hear that pounding 5 blocks away, but it’s still a reality. We walked to King Street and City Market with no issue from the house. All the way to the Battery would be a pretty long hike, but there are free DASH shuttles that can help get you around if needed. Closest pick up is Spring Street about 3-4 blocks away. Over all it felt like a good value for what was available in Charleston.

This house was great. Beautiful throughout and had everything we needed for our stay. Perfect location and the hosts were attentive and responsive. Highly recommend!
