The Wesley Walla Walla

A fabulous property in a superb location relative to the main business / restaurant district in Walla Walla. The room was essentially a suite, with a separate bedroom area and sitting / dining / kitchen area, making it well equipped for long stays. The bed was very comfortable and the entire space was immaculately clean. There are two hot tubs, as well.

Alas, the floors and walls are paper thin, and we should have anticipated there would be problems when we saw the foam ear plug packets on each side of the bed. And indeed there were problems. Since our room was located right by the entrance, we got to hear everyone coming and going throughout the night. And when we finally retired for the evening, the noise from the person / people directly above us was jarring - every footfall, every item dropped on the floor, conversations, etc. Perhaps this is the price for staying in a restored historical building, but it was unexpected. We finally messaged the proprietor shortly before midnight to request an intervention with the folks in the room above us. If we ever choose to stay there again we will request an upstairs room and let those below us deal with the noise.

Location Large king sized bed

No lotion, only one wastebasket, way to hot in bedroom as certain had to be shut because bright light outside bathroom window. No shower door and rug dust work so marble was very slippery. No cups or glasses in the room and none were in the coffee bar which was very poorly stocked for coffee, upstairs. Microwave in the bar but no fridge or normal cream for coffee. Coffe was awful, could get way better brand . No robes, would have been nice as coffee is outside.
