Non his place had old school charm .Beautiful surroundings , gorgeous spa pool , super helpful staff and wonderful donkeys 🫏. This property is 200m from the old train station , which allowed us to have a rural break - then take the slow train back to Porto without hiring a car . We loved everything about the place .

Beautiful and relaxing location over looking the Duoro river. I loved the garden, the trees, the animals. The pool was lovely with a great view of the river. The breakfast was very good in a lovely room with a garden.

The views! The hammocks on the terrasse. The pool and views from the pool.
Furniture is a little dated.

The perfect quiet place to recharge. We booked one of the rooms (Quarto dos Reis) and everything was great - from the cleanliness, to the food, to the fantastic staff, to the way the main house (where the rooms are) was furnished and decorated. Surpassed our expectations, we will be coming back.
