Room was perfect along with en-suite bathroom. Bed exceptionally comfortable and large. Decor best described as shabby chic.
Room overlooked a busy road so traffic noise a bit loud BUT bearable.

Fantastic location. Extremely friendly and helpful staff on arrival. Garage really useful (only 3 spaces so reserve ahead) Corner location of an old building has meant that modernisation has had to be around a kind of atrium where the workings of the hotel are and, yes, you wouldn't normally see this area and you do have to pass it to get to the lift and rooms. However, small price to pay for the location and friendliness.

Lovely welcome from staff and excellent restaurant

We ate in the small restaurant. Our starters were fine but our main courses were practically inedible. Very un-French.
Our room felt tired, despite having been refurbished a few years ago. Black paint on headboard and bathroom door, and deep red carpet, felt a bit Addams Family.
