Welcome to our newly remodeled Leland lodge! Our cozy place is nestled amongst pine trees at Leland Meadows in beautiful Pinecrest, California. The best for all season getaways with a short 10 minute drive to PINECREST LAKE or DODGE RIDGE SKI RESORT. Or in walking distance to LELAND RESERVOIR and LELAND HIGH SIERRA SNOWPLAY. Our private lake, offers a dock, paddle boards, and peddle boats. Other outdoor amenities include tennis courts, pickle ball, horseshoe pits, and lots of hiking trails.
The space
This 1000 sq. condo has 3 levels, with sleeping accommodations for a maximum of 7. There are 2 bedrooms with queen beds in each, and a loft with one double & twin bunk, 2 full bathrooms, propane heat stove, and wall mount propane heater in one downstairs bedroom. THERE IS NO WASHER but we do provide a dryer. Three decks with relaxing outdoor seating, and a Traeger BBQ. A fully stocked kitchen to prepare your meals, with pots, pans, dishes, and utensils and of course a coffee pot! All beds have freshly washed, comfy sheets, blankets, and plenty of pillows. Four TVs and WI-FI. Also provided are a variety of board games, games, Domino’s, and cards for for adults, and children.
Guest access
Guest will have full access to entire space, except for three storage closets, which are locked up for safekeeping
Other things to note
Please respect that this property is for only 7 guests. All guests must be over 2yrs of age and supervised at all times due to stairs and propane stove. HOA requires all guests to be 25 years older to make a reservation.

There is a set of newly remodeled metal stairs that you have to use in order to have access to the front door.
WINTER MONTHS
Winter months can be unpredictable. Occasionally during snow storms, power outages can occur. Unfortunately, we are not giving advance notice. Also, please keep in mind that it may take a couple hours for it to come a comfortable warm temperature especially if it’s super cold outside.
Stay updated on weather/snow conditions during your stay. We highly recommend that you carry chains/or have four-wheel-drive. Shovels are provided at the front door in winter months. In the event there is no, you might have to use them to have access.

We were very pleased with our stay, the home was well stocked with all that you need. The kitchen was very nice, bathrooms as well. We had our grandchildren and there were plenty of board games for them when we were inside. The views were breathtaking with the sunset. One thing, there was no garbage service, so plan on taking it with you

Being close to Leland Snowplay was very convenient. The little neighborhood it's in was nice. Unit itself was a little run down but clean and suited us well. Communication/rules/info was a little disorganized but we managed.

For the price, it was okay. Here are things that we liked: not far from Pinecrest, 10 minute drive. The private lake and play area. Walking paths in front and all around the location. Tons of streaming services on their tv. Friendly neighbors! Small amount of people walking around. Very dark at night. We feel though that maybe it should have been spelled out that the photo of the outside is actually a photo of the entire quadriplex and that it is 1 unit of a shared quadriplex where you share the front deck, its awkward if you weren't expecting that. Also, the parking is just street parking above the location. Its between the street and dirt trench area so if you aren't a good driver or scared of that sort of thing stay away. Also, its honestly not toddler friendly. We had a toddler and were scared from the outside stairs and the railing on the top floor had a big enough gap for her to fit through, but of course stay on top of them. Outside area was dirty/dusty so we couldn't enjoy it. The shared community center area was dirty so we just used it that way and let ourselves get dirty. The zero reception made everything hard. I guess it depends on your service provider? but their wifi was great! We are not use to renting places out there, this is only our 2nd time, so maybe these are all typical and expected things.
