We thought: if Corona makes us all stay at home, this is the place to be. And yes it is: so spacious, green everywhere, quiet. Three mornings around 11 a deer stood in the back of the garden. We had a lovely week, did three days surf lessons in Bidart (Biarritz), just half an hour drive. Sigrid, many thanks!

Bardos property (Moulin d"Ibure) is one of the best palces of this type we have ever been to. The garden is just magnificent and the house very clean, spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the place, its tranquility and ambience very much. That's much better than any 6 star hotel! We had stayed for a week at the Moulin d´Ibure It´s an isolate building in the French countryside sourronded by some farmers. You can arrive to the French Basque Coast (Biarritz, Capbreton, Hossegor...) and some interesting basque little villages in moreless 45 minutes by car. The Moulin is very comfortable, wide and very well-equipped. There is a big garden with an exuberant vegetation where you can play, read, sleep or simply listen. We appreciated a lot the place, the sounds of the air, trees, birds, water, the exuberance of the nature and, in my opinion, the silence. In the morning, you wake-up with the sun rays accross the window and listening the sounds of birds in the garden. In the afternoon you can read some book listening the air moving the trees, the water in the river and the birds. If you like the nature sounds the Moulin is a good election

We have just come back from spending the most idyllic week at Maison d'Ibure and were really sorry to leave. The house is just beautiful and extremely well equipped and well laid out (we all had our own bathrooms - such a treat!), and the setting is idyllic - so peaceful and relaxing - the perfect place to re-charge the batteries and experience life in the beautiful French countryside. The location is also excellent with a long list of highlights within a manageable drive away - Biarritz, St Jean de Luz, Lourdes, Hautes Pyrenees, Bordeaux, Bayonne etc. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Maison to anyone and we are already talking about our next visit.
