We spent four nights here at the end of May - for us, a perfect time to visit, before the summer crowds! This coastline was a revelation. It’s absolutely beautiful. But not so good for swimming, it’s designed for surfing for sure! The house was pretty much as we expected. Spacious and well equipped, in a quiet area about half a mile from the beach and the centre of Somo. Communication with the owner (who lives in Paris) was excellent and she was full of useful suggestions for places to visit. I would recommend this holiday let, but would want to point out that there actually is no parking on site (the description suggests otherwise). We were able to park in the street with no problem, not sure how easy that would be in high season?

Nice house, on walking distance to the beach. The owner is very helpful and friendly (where to go, restaurant tips,...). We stayed here with our 3 sons in the age of 16-18. They wanted to go surfing. Great place to surf!

"A very nice small house in the village of Somo with four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room and kitchen. It has car parking. For holiday accommodation, it was very clean, furnished and decorated to a high standard, and it was very well equipped for a family holiday. It has everything we needed and linen was supplied. The house is only a short walk to the village centre, where there is a good Lupa supermarket and a number of places to eat at reasonable cost. The magnificent beach is also only a short walk away and Somo is within easy driving distance to many other small towns and beaches along this very unspoiled coast. There is a half hourly ferry service to Santander. Highly recommended."
