Host quickly got back to us with questions we had. House was clean and in quiet area.

The lake access is great, its 20 steps from the main house and the beach area has a nice sandy bottom going out into the lake, perfect for swimming. Arbutus Lake is quieter, mostly property owners so you don't get speedboats or jet skis blasting around. There were probably 2 days during our stay where nobody else was on the lake, just us.It's about 10 minutes to get into Eagle River so perfect for shopping or dining out as well.We stayed during a particularly hot stretch and (as advertised) the main house does not have air conditioning. In 90 degrees plus we made do with some fans, most of them provided in the house, to help move air around.

Sauna is a great amenity! Lesya was very communicative and timely with responses.
