Wonderful property! We were in a bind having to do emergency repairs on our rebtal property requiring us to temporarily rehome our tenants who have 3 small children. It was supposed to rake obe week just before Thanksgiving. It turned into 2 weeks & the owner was gracious enough to extend over the holiday weekend. The property was clean & very spacious. The owner was quick to reply to all messages. Everything you could need was on site, ready to go!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cozy River Retreat! It was very clean, spacious and the host was friendly and quick to respond. We will back for sure!

Very comfortable setting, good communication with the host, quiet surroundings, We are glad we found this place to stay.

Overall we had a nice stay. We found the location to be handy. We were pleasantly surprised to have almost no moskitos. There is access to the river but just to look at, no real place to sit and enjoy it or to swim. If you like to walk, you can take a mostly undisturbed walk on the road. We found what we needed in the kitchen. A few snacks and spices were nice. The interior was pleasant and roomy. The disappointment was to find white drool(?) stains on my pillow cases on the bed. And the fact that there were no flat sheets on the bed was not comforting considering the state of the pillows. I found clean pillows on the other beds. The other cleanliness issue was a huge spill on the outside wall, which is already pretty grungy on the back porch and stains on the carpet going out the patio door. So, I didn't want to be barefoot on any carpets after seeing that. Some little odds and ends need tending to: screen on patio door is broken, missing ceiling tile in bedroom... but these were minor issues. The cleanliness was the big disappointment especially for the price.
