Hotel Oceanía Bogotá Museo

The hotel itself is perfectly acceptable, nice staff, good sized clean and comfortable rooms, and good value for money. It is located reasonably close to the city centre.

The issue here is the local environment. While it is a fairly easy walk into the old city centre, it's not a particularly comfortable experience as the building is located in a quite rundown, low socio-economic area. The facilities near the hotel are fairly few - no laundry, very few food outlets that you would consider eating at and that's if you wanted to run the gauntlet of walking around the area at night. It's a shame because the hotel itself is quite acceptable and possibly not an issue if you want to use taxis or uber to get you safely out of the area.

Staff was amazing,breakfast is good overall.. the breakfast could be more upgraded..but good overall amazing!

The property itself it was ok, stuff was nice, breakfast was good, room was good and comfortable, but the location it was bad, yes close to the downtown but the area is just scary at night, it smells so bad, dirty I would not stay here again!

The location, the area around it’s bad, scary, smells horrible, dirty and is not that close to downtown 5 or 7 blocks away from the start of a downtown, but not the main area
