The place is great! Both locations are perfectly set up to accommodate a larger family gathering. The barn did have an issue with the upstairs AC unit (needed a recharge in refrigerant) but the management team was fantastic and had it taken care of first thing the next day! Hot tubs both in great shape and pool table in the stable was a big hit in the evenings. The kitchen had everything you could need for cooking pots, pans, and cast iron you name it they had it. The grill is smaller and charcoal but is a very nice setup and has adjustable platform to help control temperature.Fire ring set up is great all the Adirondack chairs are in great shape and then large stone seating that accommodate 8-10 seated easily.Trails were fun to check out but could use a little more maintenance or use to keep from being overgrown.Some reviews referenced water smell and it has a tinge of sulfur to it but my wife has a very sensitive smell and was not bothered by it at all. There are a couple minor things that could use some attention. The maintenance free Decking at stable location has started to warp in the heat and can be a hazard if not watching your step it is not flat in all spots. The upstairs shower at the barn seems to have a small leak as water dripped through ceiling onto kitchen cabinet when in use. Deck maintenance was on going at barn and had some demolition debris around that hopefully won’t be there long.Overall place was fantastic and would stay again

The place is beautiful! We loved our stay.We took advantage of the grill and firepit, as well as the sauna and pool table in the stable.The downstairs bedroom in the main house was cool and blocked out the sun entirely.The location was decent, as driving is required to get anywhere near the state park.The only negative was that we had a torrential rainstorm on the first night that really washed out the road leading to the place. My Jeep made it OK, but it was a challenge for the sedan in our party. I emailed the host, and didn’t hear back. I think that communication/response could be improved. They did provide an emergency number, but I didn’t consider it an emergency, just an inconvenience.I would definitely stay here, and plan to share our experience for any friends who are looking for a place to stay in the area.It is resort quality

Host was super easy to get connected with when we had a need, and the property was amazing. We really enjoyed having separate spaces for the family members. We didn't get a chance to walk the trails, but the property seemed awesome! Super clean upon arrival. The only suggestion I would make would be to have more towels available to guests if possible. :) A washer and dryer would be an awesome addition as well. Thanks for a great stay!

The property and house were beautiful and clean and well stocked. BUT the water here smelled so bad, that my husband threw up from the water smell while taking a shower. And The 2 times I showered the family left the building due to the sewage smell…. I grew up with well water, and I’ll confirm it doesn’t smell like poop.
