At Ease

At Ease is a cozy, well-appointed upstairs retreat perfectly located at the north end of downtown Saugatuck. Guests consistently rave about the unbeatable walkable location—close enough to enjoy everything downtown has to offer, yet just far enough away to feel peaceful and relaxed.

Step outside and you're moments from award-winning restaurants, charming boutiques, art galleries, ice cream shops, and the local theater. When Lake Michigan is calling, Oval Beach and Douglas Beach are just a quick drive away and offer wide sandy shores, dunes, and unforgettable sunsets. For a scenic, car-free option, walk three blocks to the historic Chain Ferry, cross the river, and enjoy a pleasant 15-minute walk to the beach. Guests also love nearby outdoor options like Mt. Baldhead and Saugatuck Dunes State Park for hiking and nature views.

Inside this second-floor unit, you'll find a bright and welcoming retreat that blends cozy charm with modern comfort. The open living, dining, and kitchen area is filled with natural light from surrounding windows, creating an airy place to unwind. Relax on the sofa sleeper, stream your favorite shows on the Smart TV, or enjoy a casual meal at the dining table or snack bar after a day of exploring Saugatuck.

Step out onto the balcony to sip your morning coffee or enjoy dinner for four while taking in views of the flowerbeds, street, and glimpses of the river—one of guests' favorite features.

The kitchen is compact but thoughtfully stocked with the essentials for easy meals at home. The cozy queen bedroom offers ample storage and a window AC unit during warmer months for comfortable sleeping. The full bathroom, accessed through the bedroom, features a shower/tub combo for easy refreshes after a day exploring town or beach.

With convenient parking right out front and everything you need within easy walking distance, At Ease makes a comfortable and carefree home base. It's an ideal spot for couples, friends, or anyone looking to enjoy a relaxed, car-free getaway while exploring the charm and beauty of Saugatuck.
