Al Palazzo La Dimora

Although we had a lovely stay, it seemed like more of a hotel online than it actually was. There's nobody there not are there any amenities so the restaurant and courtyard are really not to use because there's no staff working there. The breakfast is not on-site. We needed to walk a block or so and go into a cafe where we could have coffee or juice and a pastry. I'm not much of a breakfast person so it wasn't a huge deal but it just felt misleading. All of the "services" they offer were basically just "we know someone who can do it so we will give you their number on Whatsapp and you can see if there's availability". Also, it's definitely an area where one needs a car to get around and there's no covered parking, it's all street parking. The room was lovely, spacious, clean, all the good things. All in all, it was a good stay but I did feel a bit swindled and was expecting it to be more of a hotel than a room in an apartment building which is more of what it felt like.

A wonderful surprise. Al Palazzo La Dimora made our stay in Bari truly memorable. From Rossella's warm, thoughtful, and genuinely caring hospitality to the incredibly comfortable beds and the thoughtful amenities designed for travelers with carry-on luggage (even including a mini razor), every detail made us feel at home. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, spotless, and felt very safe. There's also a lovely restaurant just behind the property, which was a great bonus. Breakfast was only a short walk away and was excellent, especially the croissant. The staff there welcomed us with the same kindness and warmth that made our entire stay so special. One gesture, however, made all the difference. After nearly 40 hours of traveling, we arrived well before check-in, exhausted. Rossella kindly allowed us to rest before heading out to explore the city, and that act of generosity completely changed the start of our trip. She is an exceptional host who truly cares about her guests. Without a doubt, we would stay here again. Al Palazzo La Dimora gave us wonderful memories, not only because of the beautiful property but, above all, because of the genuinely kind people we met there.
