Residenza Segrate Centro Novegro near LINATE Airport

Convenient location to Linate airport.

No paper or china cups to put hot tea in. The plastic cups just melted with hot boiling water, so were useless.

Location is within a slow 10 min walk from Linate airport and the Metro. The studio style apartment was spacious even for a large double and si gle bed with table and three chairs. Having cooking facilities was useful for anyone with a car or the determination to find a grocery shop. The washroom was very spacious. Communication from the host was easy, prompt and effective. We mentioned in passing one part of the bed was very noisy and they changed it within an hour. Breakfast was not included, but the hosts supplied some bits to keep three guests going for their first morning including bottles of water in the fridge.

The two parts the owners have no control over is: 1. that there is no easy to reach shop by foot - other than to go back to the airport or get a bus (assuming you do not have your own transport. 2. Those in adjacent or apartments above are very easy to hear, especially when they drop things on the floor, drag furniture across the floor or even talk (at a sensible volume). You are very near to the airport, so get used to the idea you will hear planes. That's not a criticism, just a warning to those who may ignore the obvious. We do like to self catering to keep costs down, and the kitchen was good enough apart from the exceptionally slow induction hob. Not particularly a problem though.

Close to the airport with a 24 hour shuttle service 5euro pp (we needed a 4:30am shuttle for a 6:55am flight!). Nice clean family suite with 4 beds.

The location was excellent just a 15 minute walk from the airport, even when pulling suitcases. The lady who checked us in was lovely. The apartment was fairly roomy. It was clean.

The bathroom door handle fell of in my sons hands when he was trying to shut the bathroom door, when I tried the moulding around the door came off too. There were no real cups or glasses so you could not make yourself a cup of tea or coffee. They had some soft plastic glasses if you had put boiling water in they would have melted, they had some little paper cups only expresso size. There was no kettle or microwave but I could have boiled water in a pot on the hot plate. The beds were not the most uncomfortable we have slept on this trip but close and the duvet was so warm I ended up sleeping under a sheet with my coat over my feet.
