Casa Camomilla E is a characteristic and welcoming two-story independent house surrounded by meadows and by green hills. It sleeps seven people. From Casa Camomilla E you will enjoy an enchanting view of the Valdisieve (Sieve Valley). Casa Camomilla E is 100 square meters (1076 square feet). It features a shared swimming pool, a private patio, a shared garden, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be roughly 1.5 km (one mile) from the center of Sieci, where you will find restaurants and shops. You will reach Casa Camomilla E from the parking area without having to climb any steps.
To stay at Casa Camomilla E you will need a car. You will be able to park it on the premises, free of charge in a reserved parking space. Please note that access to Casa Camomilla E is along a 800-meter (half-a-mile) unpaved road. Casa Camomilla E is one of the holiday homes available in a small complex (you can find these holiday homes on this website). The complex has been obtained from an age-old farm house made of stone which is located in the hills of the Chianti Fiorentino, the Northern part of the Chianti area. In the complex you will find six holiday houses, attached one to each other. Each house features a direct access from the garden, with a reserved patio or terrace. All around the complex, you will enjoy a 360 degree view of the green hills where you can discern ordered lines of vineyards, or large areas covered with olive groves and towering cypress trees.
At the property, you will be able to arrange dinners and cooking classes on request for extra fee, and you will also be able to book excursions, wine tours and other activities such as horseriding or lake sport fishing. The gardener lives on the premises.

Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is 7 meters (23 feet) large by 13 meters (42 feet) long, from 1.20 meter (4 feet) to 2.40 meters (7.9 feet) deep. The area is equipped with sun umbrellas and sun loungers. From the swimming pool you will enjoy an enchanting view of the Tuscan countryside and of the vineyards. You will share the pool with guests staying at 5 other apartments. The swimming pool is open from the beginning of June until the end of September, until 8 pm.
Garden
The garden is 5000 square meters (54000 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by ancient olive trees and by tall cypresses. The garden is equipped with wood sofas, as well as with chairs and an hammock. Here you will be able to have fun with a ping pong table and a football table. Here you will also find a barbecue. From the garden you will enjoy an enchanting view of the Tuscan hills and of the vineyards. You will share the garden with the other guests staying at the complex.
Laundry room
You will be able to reach the laundry room through an external access. Here you will find a washing machine at your disposal (please note that use of the laundry facilities is not included in the rental fee and must be paid locally). The patio is 35 square meters (375 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a characteristic porch made of stone. It is equipped with a wickerwork sofa and armchairs and with a table and chairs.
Ground FloorLiving Room
The living room is paved with Tuscan terracotta tiles. The ceiling is sloped and has characteristic exposed wood beams and terracotta tiles. The furnishings are cozy and comfortable. The furnishings include two armchairs and a divan that unfolds into a double bed. There is a big fireplace made of glass. In the living room you will also find a cooking area. The kitchenette is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, an Italian-style coffee-maker and a toaster. The dining table can accommodate seven guests. In this room you will find a television (local channels). The room has two windows with a view of the greenery and of the hills. It is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
First FloorBedroom 1 with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the first bedroom through an access area. The ceiling has characteristic exposed wood beams and terracotta tiles. The room has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The room has a window with a view of the greenery and of the hills. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit, and you will also find a ceiling fan. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a shower.

You will be able to enter the second bedroom through an access area. It has three single beds (80 cm/32 inches). The room has a window with a view of the greenery and of the hills. Francesca et Giovanni, les frère et soeur gérants nous ont accueilli quelque peu stressés ce 15 aout vers 17h30, la fatigue de saison accumulée peut-être.... Mais, cela s'est dissipé au fil de notre séjour, où nous avons eu l'occasion de croiser régulièrement Giovanni qui a été serviable et qui a répondu à nos diverses interrogations.
Leur propriété est agréable, et bien située. L'appartement que nous avons loué était spacieux mais très sombre. Nous étions en effet obligé d'allumer la lumière en permanence dans le séjour-salon-cuisine. Par contre, nous avons apprécié la literie qui était de bonne qualité, en effet nous attachons une importance particulière afin d'avoir 4 vrais lits et non des canapés-lits.
Seule inconvénient de l'appartement, la terrasse extérieure qui était peu utilisable et peu pratique. Nous ne l'avons utilisée qu'une seule fois pour déjeuner car elle était trop éloignée de l'appartement loué et il fallait passer par les espaces terrasse de 2 autres appartements occupés par des familles pour y accéder.
L'accès à la piscine et la propreté de l'eau était très correct et nous a beaucoup plus (douche extérieure, taille de la piscine, chaises, table...). Nous en avons profité quotidiennement>. Et quelle vue magnifique sur les champs de vigne et le jardin bien entretenu !
Nous retournerons certainement à la villa podere vignola Camomilla E mais dans un autre appartement avec une terrasse plus accessible.

Big house nicely located with beautiful garden and clean, big swimming pool. Pity it does not have air conditioning but we knew that before making the booking.

We really enjoyed Casa Camomilla E. The grounds were well taken care of and peaceful. The villa was cozy and fit our needs for the price which was very reasonable. Our kids enjoyed the pool every day/evening and was kept very clean.
The grounds caretaker, Giovanni, showed excellent hospitality and was very helpful in accomodating all our needs. He was prompt and present at our expected arrival time and even accomodated us on an early check-in and check-out.
The landscape and scenic area of Sieci are memorable and beautiful!
Summer in Italy was an easy website to navigate with detailed descriptions of the rental properties. There was a wide selection of properties ranging in different prices. The staff was very prompt in returning email and answering questions regarding the property.
