The hostel is absolutely lovely. I especially liked the common area and the rooftop terrace to hang out. It's easy to connect with people. The free breakfast is delicious and if you leave before breakfast time, they even prepare you breakfast to take away. The area around the hostel feels safe, there are little shops and restaurants around and all sights in Fes are in walkable distance.
But the best thing about the hostel is the staff, you guys are incredibly welcoming and handsome. Thank you so much, I would definitely go again :)
The only thing I didn't like so much is that the bathroom is kinda dark and smelly. Also my room was right next to the common area downstairs, so we couldn't let the door or window open, so even with the aircon, there was barely oxygen in the room. But the rest definitely makes up for it!

Staff is super kind and helpful, available to give recommendations and just chat which is a very nice change of pace. They become regular faces you see during your stay and they make you feel at home. Getting to the Riad is also quite simple even with luggage as it is only a couple minute walk from Place Batha, only required 2 turns. The Riad is also in a good location medina wise being within a 10 min walk to the blue gate where there are lots of shops and good simple food choices!
Not really a complaint, just a heads up like the rest of Fes and most of Morocco, this is a CASH ONLY facility (including your booking)! Even if you put card information into booking, all it does is reserve your space, not actually pay anything, all fees are expected up front in cash so plan accordingly.

The Riad is amazing, even more beautiful than in the photos! The bedroom and the bed is comfortable, wifi is good (I had to work from there one of the days), the staff is very friendly and helpful, but I think the highlight is the terrace and the shared spaces upstairs, it is great to spend some time resting after the chaos of the medina or to watch the sunset! Super recommend.
