Amazing experience and place to stay for Rome. The staff were very helpful and friendly, they gave us a helpful map of Rome and where they recommend to go, etc. Most of the main attractions are within walking distance and we loved our stay here. 10/10

No issues.

The location was fantastic, close to the Vatican and all the main attractions. Situated right by the river and near the bridge, it was the perfect base for exploring Rome on foot. The apartment was spacious and exceptionally clean. The host was very welcoming and came to meet us even though we arrived late in the evening. Check-in was easy and hassle-free, and they also arranged a taxi for us from the airport. We couldn't get a later check out but we could leave our luggage at the property for the day.

The biggest downside of our stay was the noise. We expected Rome to be busy and chaotic, but getting a good night's sleep was extremely difficult. Without our noise-cancelling headphones, we would have had very little energy to explore the city during the day. As far as I can tell, the rooms are renovated but this deluxe apartment is just partially renovated and it shows. The price should be lower. The noise came from both inside and outside the building. The elevator beeped loudly every time it was used, there was some kind of machinery noise coming from the street throughout the night and day, and ambulances seemed to pass constantly. There was hardly any peace or quiet. We had read other reviews describing the location as quiet, so perhaps it depends on which apartment you stay in or which side of the building it faces. The windows are old and provided no soundproofing, the same case was with the entrance door. We could hear people walking past the apartment, slamming doors, talking in the hallway like they were in the apartment with us. We paid €80 directly to the taxi driver for the airport transfer.
