We really enjoyed our stay at Ciala Resort. The grounds are lovely. The rooms are comfortable. The food is good and the staff are EXCELLENT (kind, thoughtful and attentive).
We were in Kisumu for a wedding and didn’t spend much time at the property, but in the moments we had we enjoyed the pool and the gym. Breakfast was good with both local and international choices. Dinner was better.
Unfortunately, on our last day my son got sick. The staff were so helpful. It was early in the morning before the infirmary opened, but Pauline at the front desk called the nurse and gave us tender care. Vincent was also amazing.
Should we return to Kisumu we will definitely stay at Ciala Resort.

Wonderful environment, friendly staff, great menu and healthy options. The concierge lady and the HR were exceptional .. just that check in wait took longer than expected but overall we enjoyed our stay.
