Loch Ness Gate House

Very clean, great location.

Bed was pretty soft but that is a personal preference preferring a hard bed. Everything else was fab.

What a beautiful location and the staff cannot do enough for you rooms are spacious and clean.

I liked the location of the hotel, it’s right next to the canal! The beds were comfy!

When we first arrived we hadn’t been given a code to get in, you had to call a number which did not answer, two other people there said we had to call the emergency number, we did so and then got in. First impression of the room, it was clean but as you looked closer there was a big stain on one of the chairs and mysterious marks all over the lower walls in the main room & bathroom. The bathroom was clean, but again mysterious marks and unfinished paint above the toilet and the shower only had what I think was body wash and two empty spaces I’m guessing for shampoo and conditioner. The beds were comfy but I was disappointed it wasn’t a double bed as it was me and my partner staying, okay storage but there was a picture that was supposed to be on the wall in there. All in all it’s a nice place to stay, basic needs are met but I think if it was done right it could be great! I also don’t recommend going out to eat near the place as we found the service and food was not the best of quality and are tourist prices (we are Scottish) The cafe downstairs was good for breakfast but £21 for a small coffee and a bacon roll each is unreal.
