Balear Hotel

This is a lovely little hotel run by a host who provides lots of things that you really want in a hotel but rarely get. Simple, comfortable room and a great breakfast. A few hundred metres from the main town, which suited us just fine as it's an easy walk into the main restaurant/bars/shopping area. If we ever return to Menorca we will book again without hesitation.

The shower screen/curtain was a bit Heath Robinson but I expect it's on the list of repairs at the end of the Season.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and made the stay exceptional for me. The breakfast was also exceptional!! It was well located for the old historic town and took less than 10 mins to walk there.

I think I would book a double room next time for a bit more space.

great location, nice simple concept of cozy hostal to spend short amount of days. breakfast was nice and the comunication was very easy also for the pickup and dropoff of the keys there was no complications

the bed was a bit wiggly every turn it moved (the single person room)

The staff were absolutely lovely, very friendly, helpful and really paid attention to the small details to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Cool bags, sun hats, sun umbrellas and fans were provided for free which came in very handy. The hotel owner prints off the weekly weather and wind report which was very useful if you want to avoid beaches with jelly fish. Rooms were clean and fresh bedding provided daily. 10 minute walk into town.

We really felt the heat with no air con in the room, and entire hotel. In the rooms there’s a ceiling fan but that didn’t help cool the it down, it made us feel ill and we had trouble sleeping because of it. Would recommend staying out of season due to the heat in the hotel. Theres no lift, something to be aware of with heavy bags. Breakfast was healthy, but quite basic, all cold and no eggs which was a shame.
