Our family of 6 (ages 24 to 85) had a comfortable 3-night stay in Hendee Mansion; we were attending a nearby collegegraduation. The property combines historic character with modern convenience. It was very clean, and our check in- and out instructions were very clear. Water pressure was great, the bed linens were very soft, and there was plenty of space. We're so grateful we found it, and Ken was very helpful!

Just as listed, the Hendee house is spacious and comfortable, with a few eccentricities you might expect in a 100-year old mansion, but none that hampered a very enjoyable 55th reunion of four college roommates and their spouses. We had no real problems fixing meals, dining, and visiting in the living room and veranda. The location was very good, just a few blocks from a very large forested park.

House is old, but guest areas are in good condition. Air conditioning worked well and the house was comfortable. Kids had a great time exploring. We extended our stay by a couple of days and the owners were quick to respond and easy to work with.

House was larger than expected, particularly the sitting areas. Kitchen was amply stocked. Check-in and out went smoothly. Only nit was that only one key was provided. With several people coming and going, it would have been nice to have another key.
