I had a major surgery and needed a place to stay nearby during the initial recovery. I saw this property and thought it would be perfect... I was not disappointed! Although the front of the house is on a fairly busy street, once you are inside all the noise fades away. The place is decorated with a very eclectic mix of styles which just suits the house perfectly. Although I did spend a fair amount of time inside, the real star of this property is the backyard and the lake. It was so amazingly quiet and serene that I couldn't imagine a better place to recover. The path which goes around the lake was perfect for taking daily walks to enjoy the sights (GORGEOUS plants and flowers everywhere) and to just soak in the calming spirit. All of the neighbors were a delight - we were even invited to attend a neighborhood potluck at the lakeside pavilion just across the water from the house. My family who came to stay with me throughout the time I was there all agreed that this was just an absolute piece of paradise! We are hoping that we will be able to return next year and be able to enjoy more aspects of the lake, like swimming, canoeing and maybe even try paddle boarding. If you get the opportunity, don't pass this one up. It is a gem with a wonderful location to explore the surrounding areas, or just sit back and take in the beauty.
