Beautiful Cozy Room

I have stayed here many times and always have a lovely time. It has everything you need and is a home from home. Handy for Central London with great transport links. Highly recommended.

The fridge and windows were dirty with the wall.

Lovely room. Clean, good facilities, great location, excellent value for money

The room was a good size for London. It was basic and tired but the bed was comfy.

So the room itself wasn't too bad but house the room was in was totally filthy. The bathroom was very dirty, a bad smell, mould, hair, leaking taps etc. I saw someone cleaning it one day with the oldest, blackest mop in the world but it looked and smelt exactly the same when they were done as before. The kitchen was so dirty I didn't use it; old food left by last guests, dirt, grime, stains, bad smell, nasty. Lots of dirt, everything old and broken, that's the whole house. The less said about the carpets the better. I managed to get the washing machine to work but I don't know if my clothes were any cleaner when they came out than when they went in. Apart from the bed, everything at this place made my skin crawl. It was also very loud, all the other guests seem to be food delivery drivers who come in and out at all hours of the night, stamp up and down the stairs, and stay up all night talking loudly. The back door didn't seem to lock properly, so I did not feel secure and made sure the door to my room was locked at all times, even when just using the bathroom. Not peaceful at all. The location is not great. The house feels far from transport, which is odd in London. It felt like it took me forever to get where I wanted to go or get back from here. Also I had some trouble with check in. I didn't get the booking.com message with the check in details for some reason and when I tried to contact the property it was very difficult to talk to anyone who wanted to help me. I got in ok eventually but communication was stressful and difficult.
